FNC Coursework
FNC coursework provides the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary to "prepare the First Nation students of today to meet the challenges of their tomorrows!" Partnering with First Nations to build and strengthen their Nation's educational opportunities for their Nation members, FNC is a virtual distance learning school for students 5 years of age or older. With over 179 courses being taught in their programs, including but not limited to First Nation Language programs, traditional, cultural, and contemporary programs such as Physics and Chemistry, Forestry, Carpentry, Fine Arts, and Music; FNC has something for everyone.
Our FNC programming is proud to be able to focus on the needs of the First Nation students we serve. Our Life-Long Learning Council of 13 respected Elders from Treaty 6, Treaty 7, and Treaty 8 commit to assisting Indigenous Nations to increase their opportunity to have their Nation Members graduate from High School in under three years. FNC also commits to providing training that allows clients to enhance their knowledge and attributes in a variety of hands-on educational courses offered in-person or virtual in order for students to become more able to advance the goals of their educational plan.
